RAD Technologies’ engineering staff currently engineers and develops leading edge embedded circuitry technology for cables and over molded SMT or thru-hole PCB’s. We have been designing and over-molding electronic components for many years and are extremely knowledgeable in this field. The attributes of insert molding around electronics is very different than molded connector products. Combining state of the art molding capabilities and PCB Assembly excellence, opens the door for innovative designs that can be manufactured and are cost effective. Products such as PCB's, switches and sensors are just a few of the variations. The approach includes over-molding directly over a protected PCB assembly (pre-mold), an open device, or utilizing discrete enclosures.
